Actually I saw this exact cat on a Discovery show a few months ago. It had grown up in the waste lands of Chernobyl and had developed some minor defects. I think it had like 8 toes on one foot and two tongues. Thus the wierd barking sound it made. I feel sorry for it...

Well... i see this almost every day with my cat... this cat spots a bird and makes this sound... its probably trying to call it, like a hunting strategy. Sorry... nothihg special here.

cats make that sound when they´re watching birds and shit from behind a window, don't ask me why, just the way it is... They´re getting excited or something.

Cats do that cos they spot a bird and their sorta trying to attract it by making a chirp-ish sound.

I'd say it's more a type of sound to confuse prey than anything else, if all cats do it then it's obviously an adaptation of some kind

Our cat did this too all the time, i think it tries to attract birds. Check where the cat is looking, probably towards a bird in a tree.
