The problem lots of people (especially teenage girls) have with self-esteem, the feeling that it's impossible, out of reach to be as beautifull as the image on TV. I think that's the message ;) About the 3D-animation: just stunning. I wonder if its all CG or a CG-edited real face, because I've never seen such a "realistic" skin.

I do believe as Dantalion, the message is the strive after medias picture of a beautiful face and body, and a perfect lifestyle. And in that strive you will crash when reality stops you. Its a strong film, and as a father my heart aches for all the wonderful kids all around that think they need to be someone other than themselve, to be good enough.

It's always interesting to see other peoples takes on what they've seen... and what they think the message is. It perhaps could be whatever message that you got. I saw it and feel like we turn into machines when we watch T.V... praising and groping at the images trying to become the beauty, the violent, the smart... the crazy... only to leave oursevles---break apart who we are... which is not much if you come out of a box to praise a T.V.

That was by far one of the most beautiful animations I have ever seen. The consept is so imaginative and clever that I actually got tears in my eyes. And the message is indeed one of the major problems at this time. Absolutly beautiful.

i think that this video is very touching, this video tells us that this is not about beauty. it's about the human race. if u think deep in it, it shows u how people end up killing them self trying to reach what's beyond their capabilities. technology keeps growing, when is it gonna end? what's gonna happen? there must be a limit, and people dont see that, they just want to know more about everything. at some point we're gonna end up killing each other seeking power and immortality.
