That was absurd! the shark would have had his leg off ages ago, it certainly wouldnt have hung on for what felt like about 15 days, just for the fun of it - only to explode. for some reason. still pretty cool though, helicopter flying itself, even if it was one of those DIY ones....

I don't know which is stupider, the new batman movies for purporting to be more "realistic," or you guys for buying into them. Have a little suspension of disbelief for Pete's sake. I'll take exploding sharks, red bat-trim, Julie Newmar, and plot twists like the Joker turning Batman and Robin into surfboards over that crap every day of the week. Same bat time, same bat channel!

You could go for the suspension of disbelief required to believe that the "Boy Wonder" climbs down rope ladders with all the grace of an elderly nun...
...Or you could watch a movie in which the Batmobile actually worked. Just as an example.
Promoting suspension of disbelief is a task for the filmmakers, not the viewers. That's not to say that the '66 movie wasn't awesome, of course.
