Sad part is, some alien species is looking at us going "Wow, they just discovered that? Those noobs... "
Most cool science stuff we'll never get to see in our lifetime.. such a shame ~

Argh, I hate this stupid dread the show tries to build up. As if we were in immediate danger if the black hole in the center of our galaxy starts "feeding" again or andromeda and the milky way collide. But all these events are millions of years away when mankind has either destroyed itself or earth. Whatever happens first.

I thought it was kind of funny that they mentioned the potential doom of our race by colliding galaxies... 3 billion years from now they said... If we don't know enough to save ourselves, 3 billion years from now... If we haven't killed ourselves off by then...
Iceman you hit the nail on the head. Most documentaries nowadays tho...you will notice that tehy are geared towards bringing people in rather than purely presenting the facts..

The topic is interesting indeed, but the music is VERY annoying - it's a bloody forty-minute crescendo! Pretty lame :)

Somehow i am not convinced by this movie. I'll stick to books, they are not even half this dramatic.

It's funny that they said that the Earth is lucky if it is thrown into deep space then they also said that it would be 3 billion years from now. According to Scientist the Sun is suppose to destroy the Earth in about 500,000 years from now so if they are right we don't have to worry about andromeda now do we. I also wonder if Earth would even survive if it did float into deep space, none the less it was pretty interesting

The sun is supposed to destroy earth in a few billion years, not few hundred thousand. Our little star does have some 5 billion years left of it's lifetime. That middle-aged little rascal.
