If I'm not mistaken it is actually cheaper to produce these kind of displays. Though it is new, and what's new is expensive.. So yea, you're probably right. :p

if only they could somehow mass produce those kinda TV's in quantities that would allow the price to be a resonable number for average people like me to afford. However untill then its just a distant dot in the TV horizon
