ummmm, USA is already out of money and manpower. In the near future Cina will control USA economy (so healthy that needs a war every 10 years...), we all know that, just face it. Completely agrees with OM. I can bet all my dines on that USA is far more corrupted than any European country, or china for that part. Put it this way, in the states it's very easy to become houseless if you're not lucky with your economy, however in Sweden (as an example as thats wher I live), you can only really be an hobo if you don't give a shit anyway. Oh, and USA has one of the lowest life-spans in the world (except some state, can't rememebr wich, that is one among the worlds highest surpirisingly. Still, that's only one out of 50). Oh and a country where blacks/woman can't become a president? Pfff, don't make me say "retarded". Oops, I did it.

USA style don't give the best quality life, that's all. Even they spend 40% more resurses than Europeans. And cleary China is the wrost place. The USA culture will fall, that's a fact (if you know history), I thinnk now is the begining of the end.

However, Europe wil probably stay moderated till the end to counter extremism from all parts. I'm European and not special proud or shameful to be but, honestly, it's good to live in countries where a certain freedom of speech exists, a sure social health care and , probably, the higher amount of ecological devices to reduce pollution and to save energy. And, far from that daydreaming view : corruption, hate crimes, racism in all of its forms, prostitution ... just like everywhere else.

Of course Europeans don't hate Americans, we have way too much in common for that and no reason to feel that way. We just don't always agree on everything. Please stop making this a flame war.

funny how so many more people immigrate to the USA from everywhere in the world, than those rare few who emigrate from the USA.. either the USA is doing something right, or those other places, including europe and china, must be doing something wrong. could be economic, could be individual freedoms, but overall the preference is immigration to the USA, not emigration from it. that goes double for educated people, who understand a lot better than some of the yahoos the advantages of living in the USA. Meanwhile, china, which is really more like fascism than communism since they have become more capitalist while retaining the one-party state, is set to eventually become the biggest source of global-warming pollution if they even reach a third of the USA's consumption of fossil fuel energy, and the trends are already indicating they will not only reach but surpass that level within our lifetime. we are all in a race against time to switch to renewable energy before things get really ugly.

Thats a good point, but is the global community really going to push for a change from fossil fuelsIt seems to me that the most powerful and most influential world industry leaders arent interesting in REALLY developing alternate energy fuels. Sure everyone can talk out of their ass as much as they please, but its not really getting anywhere fast in the devloped world. Places like Brasil and Venezuela are so much further along in alternate fuels than the rest of the world, and its the best thing that comes from those countries probably. There probably a better chance of a brewing global war between religous fanatics of all walks of life than a decently developed new fuel source

All this political propaganda nonsense makes me sick. neither communism nor democrasy have resolved anything. Communism takes away your freedom to of expression, your freedom of ecconomical growth, Democrasy gives you part of this things, but takes away equality and family unity. In communism everyone is equal(exept goverment), as everyone is poor, families tend to be more united, in democrasy there is the rich that throws away tons of food just because and the poor bastard that doesn't have a piece of bread to eat, and families only get together once or 2 times a year, thus society tends to be very alienated, and all that people care for is money. In my opinion there has to come a new form to govern, that takes the good things of both sides and unites them in harmoney. I believe The us is slowly killing itself, constant wars every 3-5 years can destroy the best economies like nothing, history has showed it countless times. China won't grow to be the next super power, because they are destroying themselve, they are contaminating their own land and water sources, I can't begin to image what will happen once rice stops growing cos of lack of good water. In my opinion the next superpower won't emerge from Asia nor Europe, but from South America.
