Just don't step into a car when there is 1 inch of ice on the road.

Well what the fuck? There must be very fucking slippery there, because those people CAN'T be that bad drivers?! Or, on the other hand, they didn't have winter-tires at all...?
Portland (guest) - January 26, 2007, 20:51
- cars don't move sideways
Portland (guest) - January 26, 2007, 20:51

navysealltblue - January 26, 2007, 21:35

Hey, all you fucking bitches who call this film ? Why and how you this kind of film? Tell me? I'm just fed up with all you dudes who calls everything ...
blindgaenger - January 27, 2007, 13:43
snow chains might help.
btw i like the new symbol. makes more sense to me than the fish :)
Keisari_P - January 27, 2007, 14:22
Theres a lesson to be learned from this video. If you don't have wintertires, dont drive! If you lose controll, DON'T accelerate, just brake.
Tsaebad - January 27, 2007, 19:58
Wow, insanity.
sad (guest) - January 27, 2007, 20:33

A new world record for the world's largest skating rink!
Slasher (guest) - January 28, 2007, 16:39
WOW, that was sure some slippery road. But you would have thought that people would get the hint after bumping in to the first car and NOT try to drive further. That first cars driver must have paniced or been a complete idiot.
Vel (guest) - January 28, 2007, 17:52
Even winter tires dont help on pure ice.
Deleted0001 - January 28, 2007, 19:16
The last one (before the fire truck) was a retard, no doubt. How can it be so slippery?
okie (guest) - January 29, 2007, 05:14
I have to clarify this is on a hill. Cars would not go sideways by themselves. I live in the area and there wasn't time to get sand or salt on the road. No this isn't . And you are right that Oregonians don't know how to drive.
kombatminipig (guest) - January 30, 2007, 08:49
Keisari_P:
I hope I'm never on the same road as you during winter. You're skidding because your wheels have lost traction, braking makes this worse. If you're in a skid, put the car in neutral and turn against the skid.
vubhu (guest) - January 31, 2007, 20:03
good
navysealltblue - February 1, 2007, 03:18
kombatminipig: SKID To manage a skid, turn your wheel towards the direction the rear of your car is skidding. If this causes the car to fishtail, repeat the action several times to bring the car under control. As on ice, apply brakes intermittently, and steer to correct direction when the brake is not engaged.
that is from http://www.nationalroadsafety.org/quicksafety/intotheelements.html
R2K (guest) - February 4, 2007, 21:49
Worst road ever.

Azor (guest) - February 5, 2007, 00:12
kombatminipig: If you have ABS, then breaking as hard as you can is the best solution. Of course with regular brakes that lock the best think to do is, as you said, hit the clutch to maintain maneuverability then brake again and so on.
nuke21 - February 5, 2007, 05:37
ROFL, that is CRAZY! Notice that the BMW is the only one that had control :P
piron (guest) - February 9, 2007, 20:40
Azor i object. I have lived all my life in a climate that has usually 3 months of snow and ice on the road. Even with ABS it not recomended to just brake. Hitting the clutch would be the best solution with the ABS too. At least this is my experience in real situations and in the ice course.
Brody - February 13, 2007, 02:35
You all know you wanted that firetruck to start slipping down of control. crazy
SaxxonPike (guest) - February 13, 2007, 19:23
I know that road. It's steep. And during the winter (especially after it either snowed and froze to ice or just started snowing) you can't -- CAN'T -- stop.
PNB (guest) - February 25, 2007, 05:18
LOL, that fucking first guy. Wow. Not a panel un-dented.

Your an idiot! Snow/Winter tires are MADE FOR ICE AND SNOW SO THAT YOU CAN DRIVE IN THE WINTER!!!
Word (guest) - April 1, 2007, 23:15
I know this is splitting hairs, but that is Seattle... I grew up in washington and now live in Portland and that is seattle. Either way, its my experiance that people in either city dont know how to drive in the winter. Why you might ask? Because there all from L.A. .
A Good Driver =) (guest) - May 11, 2007, 17:57
WTF, the first dude!!!! He's got to be an american! Only Americans can drive that fucking BAD! (Oh and my Girlfriend)
diddyridder (guest) - April 22, 2008, 12:32
wtf have the americans here'd of salt
Guest (guest) - November 23, 2009, 00:49
It a slope.. and you can's stop on ice.. That's why the momentum of the car keeps the car sliding sideways.
