When you overclock, components get hot. The heatsink draws that heat off, but it can only do so much. Putting liquid nitrogen on it makes it much, much colder, allowing you to overclocked to insane speeds and not melt your computer.

Wow! But to Serveck: There isn't normal to have a 5GHZ processor. And 7.2 was made by someone doing the same thing as this guy. The normal right now, is from 3.4-4.0GHZ.

This is a good idea. liquid Nitrogen can be put inside of Heatsinks to cool them down.

while it's good as a science project and such, sadly it is absolutely impractical... But Liquid Nytrogen is fun to play around with (we do it all the time at our university...)
