This is in Enschede, a city in my country. It was a few years ago, a whole neighbourhood was destroyed. The cameraman survived, and only a few died (25 or so). It was a big scandal, because some of the fireworks stored turned out to be illegal and it was not stored properly.

To give you an idea: http://www.volkskrant.nl/redactie/images/enschede/295000884.jpg It looked like a third world country.

It is kinda explosive. i liv ein the country too but i didn't knew the explosion had such a large force. really whacked those houses. a friend of me was in enschede at the time, but he was at the other side of the town and could only hear and feel the bang, he hadn't seen anything.
Qatbot (guest) - July 3, 2006, 15:26
18 people were killed, 946 injured, 400 houses destroyed. Even if the blowup is impressive, this is the sight of a real tragedy.
Ed (guest) - July 3, 2006, 21:28
can one of you guys translate the narrative at the end please?
Real (guest) - July 4, 2006, 05:13

Coolgerb (guest) - July 5, 2006, 10:03
The translation of the last phrase is something like "You see it in slowmotion now, to see the true force of the last explosion. The roofs are literally torn off the houses."
I remember this yes, you could see the smoke about 150 KM away...
Fossalta (guest) - July 8, 2006, 00:50
