Great idea. I usually use the stairs anyway. I like to use my legs as long as I can.

Those stair ideas are nice (such as the piano stairs) BUT that is nice when there are only maybe 2 or 3 people walking on those stairs. What is it gonna sound like and how irriating is the sound gonna be when its 'rush hour' and hundreds of people are on those stairs. THINK OF THE NOISE. How long do you think people are gonna put up with the kind of noise there before enough complaints filed and they remove it.

Its a nice idea for a place that has very few people back and forth.

I just wish that this fun theory gets to be applied in more aspects of daily life
like in the workplace for example.

Y dont they shut the escalators, then every one wil take stairs...and can save power and to generate that irritating sound which comes while people walk....now this is really simple idea....right... :-)
