LoL Nice try Ulf, but I think the only way to stop this clutter of "" comments is to either not allow guests to post or make it so the word "" is filtered and/or automatically deletes your post. Of course there could be a lot of really good comments that would just never be posted if guests weren't allowed to express themselves (I myself am a guest as you can see), and people could disguise the word (like f4k3, for example), and if something really is and you want to point it out you wouldn't be able to... Anyway, the video is AWESOME. Very creative and inspiring!! I literally LoL'ed at the "asian pride" thing hehe. I really don't get it... I mean, even between Asians there's so much indifference. Koreans hate Japanese, Japanese hate Filipinos, Filipinos hate Taiwanese, Taiwanese hate Chinese, Chinese hate Malaysians, etc... they just green screened the boards out. If you watch 'Yeah Right' they show how they do it and such. There is another part of the movie where they do this with a green jump that they take out so it looks as if the boarder just ollies super high. Very well done and very creative

It's simple greenscreening. paint the skateboard green, then take two takes of the shot; one with the skateboarder, and one without anyone in the picture. As long as the two video streams match up (easy to do with a motorized camera and computer) you can simply overlay the two videos and key out the board. no reconstruction of shadows needed. it's really that easy if you have teh proper equipment.

My belief is that they removed the skateboards digitally like alot of ppl already said. But I have strong doubts about them using simple greenscreen-/chromakey- technology. I am pretty certain they have used a software like imagineersystems Mokey to remove the skateboards. These types of softwares is easy to use and professionals use them to remove wires, unwanted people etc from a single movie clip.
